About Esquires Coffee Porto

If you’re wandering through central Porto and craving a relaxed café moment, Esquires Coffee Porto is one of those spots that naturally pulls you in. I like to introduce it as a comfortable, modern cafe sitting right on R. de 31 de Janeiro 215, an area that’s always buzzing with locals and visitors. The first thing that stands out is how easy it feels to settle in here, whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee or planning to hang out a bit longer. The vibe is casual and welcoming, the kind of place where conversations flow easily and time doesn’t feel rushed. Outdoor seating gives you the chance to soak up the street atmosphere, while inside offers a cozy setting perfect for catching up on work or meeting friends.

Esquires Coffee Porto works well for different routines, which is part of its charm. You can grab a takeaway on the go, sit down and dine in, or use on-site services when you want a more relaxed break. Delivery options also make it convenient when you’d rather enjoy their flavors elsewhere. Coffee is clearly a highlight, served as the centerpiece of the experience, yet the menu stretches beyond just caffeine. You’ll find prepared foods, quick bites, and small plates that fit nicely into a busy day or a laid-back afternoon. Organic dishes appear on the menu too, which adds a thoughtful, health-conscious angle without feeling forced.

What I appreciate most is how inclusive the offerings feel. Vegan and vegetarian options are available, making it easy for different preferences to feel accommodated. At the same time, the drink selection goes further with alcohol choices like beer, wine, cocktails, and spirits, turning the cafe into a flexible spot from morning through evening. Esquires Coffee Porto blends coffee culture with a relaxed social scene, creating a cafe experience that feels approachable, current, and perfectly in tune with Porto’s everyday rhythm.

This was the first pace we stopped at once we arrived in Porto. They did not disappoint. Food was really good overall. The açaí bowl was very tasty and refreshing. The coffee smooth and delicious. The eggs fresh. The Portuguese muffin and butter hit the spot. Delicious overall.

It’s a fantastic brunch place with friendly owners! The breakfast platter was huge with tons of food! I think it was a good value for the amount and the quality of food that I got. If you’re okay with non-traditional Portugese brunch, it’s worth checking out!

Came here for brunch, late morning and it was fairly busy, we were first told we might have to sit at two different tables if we wanted to eat but luckily a few groups left so they could put tables together for us. Food tasted good, service was good (staff were always helpful) and a wide range of choices on the menu. The club sandwich was done well and the milkshake was good as any other.

We enjoyed a delicious brunch here on a Sunday around 11am. The establishment was quite busy, but we were able to get a table fairly quickly. Expansive menu. Order and pay at the counter and the food will be served to your table. The chia bowl and veggie breakfast were excellent The coffee was smooth. They have a variety of milk options as well!

Esquire Coffee Porto is a great spot for a relaxing break in the city. The atmosphere is cozy and modern, making it perfect for a morning coffee, a quick snack, or a quiet place to sit and unwind. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the service is fast and efficient. The coffee is excellent — rich flavor, great aroma, and beautifully prepared. We also tried some pastries, and they were fresh and delicious. It’s a comfortable place with plenty of seating and a calm vibe, even though it’s centrally located. Overall, a wonderful café in Porto with quality drinks, good food, and a pleasant ambiance. Highly recommended if you’re exploring the area or just looking for a great cup of coffee!

Very friendly staff, portion sizes were amazing. The flavor was outstanding. As a vegan, I was able to have a full meal that was delicious and gluten-free. For the meat eaters, the hamburger was huge, well seasoned, and a great price

I cannot say enough good things about Esquires. We tried this cafe as it was around the corner from where we were staying and loved it so much, we went back every day for breakfast while staying in Porto. The breakfast was delicious, fresh fruit, and the best coffee we had while visiting Portugal. Our kids tried the Nutella pancakes and waffle with ice cream and loved it. 10/10!!

We came here for a Sunday breakfast and absolutely loved it. We ordered the Veggie Breakfast and the Egg Lovers, and both dishes were delicious and very filling. Everything tasted fresh, especially the salad, and the scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We also tried the Oreo cheesecake afterward, which was a great finishing touch. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to!
